Exhibiting at Professional Conferences

Friends promotes the activities and programs of the Alexander
von Humboldt Foundation by participating in selected professional
conferences as an exhibitor. American Friends commissioned two exhibits
that attract attention to the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
Flyers and hand-outs explain Foundation programs and direct readers
to the website for detailed information and applications.
Staff from the American Friends office welcome visits from Humboldt
scholars attending the conferences as well as suggestions for conferences
where we might exhibit. To control costs, we focus on conferences in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area.
